NEUROPSYCHOLOGY
Neuropsychology seeks to understand the relationship between our brain and our behaviour. The field takes learnings from neuroscience around the brain and nervous system and applies this to behaviour and cognitive functioning. In a similar way, somatic psychology pairs a person’s mental wellness with their physical functioning, taking into account a multitude of underlining factors including diet, hydration, exercise, sleep hygiene and more. In coaching, this includes enabling individuals to explore the impact of their lifestyle choices and habits on their mind, body, self identity and model of the world.
